Tiktok of sold to americans and addresa all the risk issues will be allowed but tiktok wont budge due to ccp. So the ban is due to ccp and not congress which allows tiktok on condition.
Facebook and google were dealt with by congress and no way to solve the privacy issue yet. So there is no double standard. The difference here is ccp element not present in other big tech. While privacy issues in tech cannot yet be resolved yet, tiktok is the most risky to be dealt with now as China may bomb america (war). Their behavior showed their real intentions. They were never interested in Mr Chew's responses. They just wanted to throw nonsensical accusations based on fear using specific words to flame the ignorants and never allowed them to be corrected.
They forced yes or no answers, even after Mr Chew was trying so hard to give some context in the response so it all could be crystal clear, but they interrupted him over and over again, so their message does not get blurred.
