It's an an indictment, an accusation it's a normal process anyone who commits a simple crime must go through. It is entirely legal. If you believe Trunmp is innocent, having a trial is the only way he can prove his innocence. So, why fear a trial? Unless you know he's guilty and you are trying to save him by lying.
