Lots of people want to be pilots but not many people want to be controllers. Honestly, I think I’d find tower controlling rewarding but Departure, Approach, and Center controlling not so much.

Airlines can only control so much. Pre-pandemic, I was one grateful business traveler, what the airlines do ain’t easy at all! 🫡
A work at the airport, flights are mostly delayed because the lack of folks willing to work jobs for minimum wage that deserve WELL above that. The turn over rate at airports is high and they really don’t have stability but CEO and execs don’t care because it ensures they maintain the possibility of getting large raises.
