….. I couldn’t imagine losing everything I’ve ever worked for in an instant like this… To say it’s devastating is an understatement…. I honestly don’t know where I’d even begin to start putting my life back together… Sifting through the rubble to see what clothes , pictures, ect that are salvageable almost seems redundant, because there’s no place to put it… I really feel bad for those affected… I wish I had enough money to help all of them out some way…. in all seriousness, can’t houses be built today that are a little more resistant, and hold up much better in the event of something like this happening??… I remember seeing pics of where a tornado passed through OKLAHOMA, and every home was reduced to splinters except this one that was built out of brick, cement…. even the roof was still intact…. I suppose the cost of building every house to that standard would just be too much money…. could probably build a sweet underground bunker for the same amount… maybe even cheaper, and have a nice generator and water supply… probably a pipe dream, but there’s got to be a better way to prepare and live so these disasters aren’t so devastating
