Can't trust the government to secure complex secretive material. Notice he says "undermine US National Security Interests" not our actual security, but just something that our national-security-department-machine has decided it is interested in.
When you have to parse language that finely, it tells you the U.S. isn't doing good stuff.
I'd wager dollars to donuts that the leaker was trying to prevent the devastating battle that was planned that would have gotten a bunch of Ukrainians killed, and that the U.S. Gov wants those Ukrainians dead to really solidify how evil Putin is.
Our government only cares about Ukraine inasmuch as it can either directly feed the oligarchic money laundering that happens through our military industrial complex, or it can set up the next conflict to enable the same money laundering.
It has to stop.
