I was bullied for 3 years by a horrible guy. The school wouldnβt do anything about it, even after numerous complaints. That was 50 years ago and I still think about it.
My 25 year old a autistic daughter, was horribly bullied through high school. I went almost daily. The ones that would bully her were jocks. The vice principal also happened to be athletic director. Nothing was ever done. He protected his athletes instead of my daughter. Teachers don't give a sh*t is the message that came through for my child. So I pulled her out after her jr. year.
This world is not very kind, humans are making this life much harder than it has to be. May baby girl rest peacefully and may all bullies receive the energy they dealt. ππ
Move her to online school
I hold the mother responsible! What a white trash loser! I think the mother should be put in jail
This is what school boards should be concerned about!
Why was she bullied mom do you have an idea what was the kid saying can you share it mite help
Kids are cruel but probably the grief of her Father dying just weeks prior was just more than she could tolerate. Schools are just not safe havens for children as they should be someone else will assault them or shoot them or someone will psychologically torment them to their breaking point some kids are abused at home too or enduring poverty everyone's got issues. They want to show the mother the video of her alone but don't want to look at the e mails and complaints leading up to her death. Talk about teaching CRT etc. in schools they ought to meditation or other mental health strategies.
My heart hurts about this π
This was unheard of even 20 years agoβ¦.technology social media and the internet allow a bully incident not only seen by the ones who witness it directly but then is now spread around from classmates.
I'm so sorry
The school doesnβt need to make any bs statement on this. We already know they failed her, donβt care about anyone, and will admit no fault.
Why didnβt she just pulled her out of school
Why is everyone blaming the school for Felicia's suicide? My first investigation of her suicide would be looking into her home situation.
Support for how one feels about themselves starts in the home environment. I would bet my life savings that her parents ignored the signs that Felicia gave when she came home from school.
Elon Musk was also among those (as was I) and so many others who suffered from "pier abuse" in grade school.
Folks, responsibility of those under your care starts and is a strong ongoing dedication to the ones you love and assume responsibility for.
Blaming others is just a cheap excuse for your own shortcomings.
As a Buddhist and medicine man, I can tell you Felicia is so much better off on the "Other Side" than this one.
PS: reading all the comments blaming the school system, I have very little hope for those who are under the care of these commentors or will be when they become parents.
They blame only school. Parents should also take responsibility to tech and educate their kids
This is the tragic, ill effects from Social Media on our current society. We can sit here and blame the schools and parents all we want. But history shows us prior to the internet, these tragedies were rare. I'm 62 and when I was growing up, I never heard or witnessed anything about suicide from my peers. Our culture is so hateful, perverted and degenerate. I blame Social Media 100%
The mother should find an attorney, many attorneys work on a percentage of whatever settlement they can win for you. It is just plain wrong for this beautiful child's suicide to be condoned through inaction by the school.
Poor baby I love u
π
Superintendent Robert Mungo, YOU BELONG IN JAIL. This is on you! You are an effing MURDERER through negligence and inaction
What a beautiful girl π
I say crap…
If a kid is a bully, parents should be forced to homeschool their kid. Take your child and you deal with it. There is no way evil should be tolerated. My heart goes out to any child that is a victim of evil children.
Too many people blame the teachers
