As it should be!! Isn't it funny how some people in society get to turn themselves in on their own time, while others are immediately arrested no matter what it takes. But what? I agree with the parents being helped responsible for leaving the gun in an obviously unsecured location. At the same time, the child has had repeated violent disturbing outbursts and should be removed from their care and placed in a secured mental health facility with professionals trained to deal with the mental health and behavioral problems he is exhibiting.

There is nothing unique about this situation. Any responsible gun owner gave access to a gun to a child through negligence or intent. Kyle Rittenhouse's mother should be in jail. There are several School shooters whose parents should be in jail. But making someone accountable for being a responsible gun owner just doesn't seem to hold water in this country because can you imagine?
We need more of this to stop inner-city crime. Enough of this crap.
