It’s appalling that our memories are so short. After the withdrawal 1. The UK parliament sanctioned the president, the first American president to EVER be sanctioned by the UK Parliament due to his precipitous withdrawal with out notifying his NATO Allies !
2. Headlines in newspapers from the UK France Spain Germany and Australia relayed the anger and confusion of Allies betrayed.
3. Biden then blamed his generals for giving him bad advice BUT even his cadre of loyal military men refuted his claim.
4. The president was in office 8 months before his reckless decision, in the first weeks he’d essentially reversed every trump decision he could. He had plenty of time to reset any Afghan policy he didn’t like.
That the main body of the press sits there and let’s that tripe about “no chaos from my perch” go unopposed shows how far towards 1984 we have traveled.
