The homeowner who is accused of shooting 16-year-old Ralph Yarl in the head and arm posted bail after turning himself into police. Yarl was trying to pick up his younger brothers and accidentally went to the wrong home. NBC News’ Maggie Vespa has the latest updates.

I want to know what the shooter's mental capacity is. He's 85 years old, and a lot of 85-year olds have some neurological dementia. The shooting was obviously tragic and should have never happened, but maybe we aren't getting the full picture of the shooter.
According to the rhetoric by the GOP, soft on crime – letting violent criminals out on bail – only happens in Blue states. Missouri is a Red state so why is Andrew Lester out on bail?

Lots of NRA trolls in the comments. Here's how you tell. They say something to bring out fear, like 'if I was being robbed' or 'I'd be scared too if I was old' you get the picture. Then follow it up with exoneration of the shooting. The NRA is all about using FEAR to MAKE PROFIT. The trolls also follow that byline.

This young man is going to need alot of counseling and therapy. His family and community should sue the state of Missouri, with their F rated gun laws, and is the 2nd highest state in the nation for homicide. They should also sue the 84-year-old man for his house, car, and all of his wordly goods.
I think that bulldog man was hoping to m*rder the black youth. He was hoping to k*ll so there wouldn't be any witnesses.Imagine how shocked he was that the youth survived. These people are not that bright. They don't read. I don't think they realize that they can no longer lynch a black person in America with impunity. Many will face prosecution if they do. Andrew was right in the scenario. No ill intentions were used. He saw someone trying to break-in and shot accordingly. The way it's righnow home invasions are very common. He used law of castle doctrine to save him and his property. He didn't called him to home and then shot. So he didn't do anything wrong.
