How do you like my Prose Poem for Fox news?

1:37:38 My interest is piqued. Not a huge fan but Ed Sheeran's music is very Motown, toned down for the Swift crowd. I doubt it's some deliberate master plan to plagiarize the greats of the past, but obviously he has these songs in his head. I can play the same progression for several tunes including but far from not limited to Bob Marley, Camilla Cabello, and Miley Cyrus because they're standard. Did they copy each other, of course they did, because that's music. But did he cross the line where some fairly unique turn of musical phrasing was a total ripoff, let me just say I wish I could be on that jury because I would bring my musical skills and even gear to prove either it was a fair use of the tradition of Blues and/or Rock or that tune is pretty much a ripoff of a very unique tune.
I literally have a set of omnibus lyrics I use to learn various tunes so I don't have to struggle with learning both the tune itself and the lyrics at the same time. Well, that's a whole lot of hit songs I'm playing with my original lyrics which are very obviously to me not my original music. I can improvise a whole Blues, Rock, or Pop tune based on a traditional chord progression and phrasing, including a generic solo, and that's just the tradition, but if I start singing John Lennon's 'Imagine' or 'Wild Horses' by the Rolling Stones with different words, that's a whole other thing.
I'm no guitar genius, but you put me on the stand with my rig and I could convince a very general jury that basically everyone in the last fifty years copied Marvin Gaye. It really wouldn't take much.
On the other hand, one song to one other, musical fingerprints, generally no, unless it really was a copy.
Who cares what they said on their news show or if they got fired….they are MILLIONAIRE'S…..they won't miss a meal or have their lights gas or water turned off because of no money….
I watch NBC News because I can't stand the others. I don't need my news translated with an ideological bent by Fox or opinionated smirk by CNN. I want news.
Though I do admit, I love the 'Hallie Jackson Shuffle' dance, have a huge crush on baby faced Sinclair (I always forget the spelling), and massive respect and admiration for several individuals on NBC, I never feel like throwing stuff at the screen like I did just about every minute when I used to watch CNN.
By the way, Chuck Todd is the best.

Lady Antebellum's song, 'I Need You Now' has a chord progression in it that sounds an awful lot like Alan Parson Project's song, ' Eye In The Sky'.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tucker didn't show up in some office in the Republican White House. McCarthy might find some way to have Tucker's back.
Blinkens first priority was to "his" people "?
Aren't fellow Americans his people???
