  1. Sorry but Harry Belafonte was a nasty bigot who disparaged anyone who differed from his own beliefs…He once likened Colin Powell to a "slave who curried the favor of his master", and demand that Condi Rice, the most powerful African-American woman in the history of American government, be disinvited as a condition of his appearance at an NAACP convention…and he likened her to a house slave on Larry King Live. Good riddance….

  2. He used bis popularity to become an agitator and someone who at every opportunity expressed his hate of America. Civil rights activist never go to the hood and tell their brothers and sisters to stop selling dope or to stop killing each other.

  3. I don’t know about the rest of our fine YouTube commentators but I’m about ready to let loose with a powerful shart.

  38. I don't know of any civil rights that he was fighting for. Cynthia g. Youtube expose these men pathology and fake civil rights movement.
A quote from legendary actress Eartha Kitt: " I was married to Bill McDonald in 1960. People would say ‘Why didn’t you marry a Black man?’ I would reply
“because the white girls had them!” The men I wanted to be with, Sidney Poitier, Harry Belafonte, dated predominatly white women. I’m talking about the 50s. Harry Belfonte picks me up out of his bed in Philadelphia and said: ‘I don’t want you to take me seriously because no Black woman can do anything for me’. I could not help him to progress into where he was going to go. “A black woman would hold a black man back’, that’s what he told me. If I wanted to marry a black man there wasn’t one because the white girls had them."

    AUGUST 25, 2016
Belafonte, Charlamagne tha God and Rev. Al Sharpton have all come out to support Nate Parker against what they feel is a smear campaign to “keep the black man down.” Many more have come to the same defense, especially other black men, but those three are the most prominent.  Whether they know this or not, their attempts to do as much as they can to support the black man is even more damaging to many victims of rpe and sxual assault.
