I hope Republicans will pass the bill. If people squeak about the debt ceiling, it is on the Dems' shoulder. Biden doesn't even want to negotiate with McCarthy's offer. There are many stupid things in the bills that Dems like, they need to be cut. We a s taxpayers can not print money just because we ran out of our budget but for some reason Dems think they can. It is because socialists have no problem spending someone else's money, but they would scream if they have to spend any of theirs.

Republicans: We don't have a debt problem we have a spending problem. So why cut the income flow. Why give tax cuts to the 1% if that is not a problem? In the real world if you pay out a lot of money, you don't cut your income just to us break even on your pay out to income. That's what Republicans have been doing for decades. Cutting the income of the USA by reducing taxes on the 1% and refusing to make all income taxable for Social Security. Taxing all income for Social Security will go a long long way to helping Social Security stay solvent for decades.

I wonder if it will take another 14 rounds to pass that mess of a budget in the GOP and if Democrats will then finally vote a no confidence vote against the Speaker because of his attempt to risk a world economic crash by threatening to block the raising of the U.S. debt limit to push that budget through. All U.S. Veterans need to hear what Speaker McCarthy wants to cut out of the VA budget in this despicable debt ceiling rant. Folks, this covers only the VA. He wants a 22% cutback in Veteran services.
Cut 81,000 veteran health admin jobs.
Reduces funding for rural telehealth. My thoughts. Veterans love this program.
Cut 6,000 benefit jobs – increasing "wait times" for healthcare services. " This cut WILL hurt veterans badly. These are mostly support staff who schedule vets app. Etc.
Cut 500 jobs from the VA cemetery service and delayed opening five new facilities. " Some cemetery services still need to catch up. IE shortage in staffing.
Cut food assistance for veterans. " Due to many veterans injured in the line of duty, they don't earn much $$ anyway.
Deep cuts to mental health care. " Veterans are in real need of mental health care. Cutting those jobs will be a disaster for veterans.
Eliminates job training for homeless veterans. " What job would an Infantryman have once they come home? They need this funding.
This will set the VA back at least 5 or more years compared to current funding levels.
Folks, this is not a party issue. This is a veterans issue. Mr. McCarthy must be made to realize these cuts Will harm all veterans. TY.

To put it Bluntly the US Government is Bankrupt and the Federal Reserve has pumped an additional $9 trillion dollars into the economy to keep it afloat, the good times are in the rear view mirror and it is only downhill now.
