  1. There should be a removable sticker that autistic ppl can place on their window (option if they want to be identified as autistic or opt out if they don't…..that police can easily identify them during traffic stops., pretty simple)

  2. I understand everything she's saying but it also seems like he doesn't need to be driving.

  3. It is about time this issue received attention. Better late than never. I'm a late-diagnosed autistic, white woman (who is also a pianist). I definitely have color and female privilege when it comes to dealing with the police. When I was living in San Diego, there were some efforts to train the SDPD in dealing with autistic adults, but they didn't go nearly far enough. There needs to be much more empirical research dedicated to this lack of awareness among police.

  4. Avoid the feral animals to be safer. See the facts? Great culture! Always the perpetual victim class.

  5. I'm shocked departments (or more/all) don't use/carry non-lethal (should be anyway) bean bang type weapons. When dealing with someone without a gun, it seems it would be a good choice for getting many situations under control. Or heck, powerful water cannon type guns. Tasers aren't always a good solution, so I'm not sure why more options aren't out there or used.

  6. As a mom of a autistic child this is so sad. Every kid is so different. I can tell my child something easy to do but they will get so easily confused by it. So shouting and giving him multiple commands doesn’t help at all they freeze up and get upset. If you don’t have a kid on the spectrum it can be hard to understand.

  7. If autism is the cause of all of this, including what he did to George Cusick ..then why did he and his family permit him to ever drive at all? And this is not the only significant high-impact accident he caused? And now, even with full benefit of hindsight..and foresight should probably have kicked in b4…
.'oh, umm, yah, of course our heart goes out to George Cusick, if only we could change it, we would…now, let our son go out and kill or maim someone else, please, that's the important thing we want to talk about here"

he and they have the nerve to demand that it all go away, and he be handed a set of car-keys again? On account of OF COURSE it is 100% about what is convenient for him, right?
And 'oh, they ignore police commands because of Autism" I can live with them being non-responsive to police commands…if they just sit there like stunned-mullet, totally non-responsive, I can live with that. What I cannot be so understanding about, is when they run or drive off at high speed in response to those police commands.
But like 'Depression" this thing , slash bi-polar, is just cum the go-to fucking excuse for everything, isn't it?

Substantially..we are of course being jerked-off here.
And one more minor detail. She identifies herself as black, but the mom appears to contain some east-Asian bloodlines, to me. Mehh, of course I cannot say for sure, but I can state for sure that ticking 'black' gets you more instant bullshit negotiable-currency victimhood.

  8. Clown World! 🀑

  9. At this point im going to cry. As if this world isnt overwelming enough. Now i have to worry about police just cause im black and autistic? I just wish this world was more carring and understanding. 😒

  11. As the vaccine regiment increased so did autism.
    Is sucidal and autistic
    Parents let it drive
Tries to kill himself by driving into oncoming traffic
"Da police is racist n sheeit he din doo nuffin"
    GTFO of here…

  12. We all know someone affected by this social disorder and Autism should be near and dear to everyone's heart….. #SupportUnderstandAutism

  13. Autism is a spectrum disorder, and the issue with this label is that no two people with autism are exactly alike. They might be a bit similar, but it’s not a cookie cutter. Furthermore, there is not a physical characteristic who can help people to identify who has and does not have autism. While a stim can help, not all people with autism stim in the same way. I feel for these parents. Many people with autism are misunderstood, and honestly, you have to really get to know these wonderful people to figure out how to appropriately support each one and their specific needs. Education and exposure in the community can help everyone support people with autism. ❀

  14. Lol. So he can get away that. Is it all black autistic. So why is this okay.
