FAA and airlines under pressure to update required medications on flights



While every commercial plane must carry a sealed medical kit, the FAA hasn’t updated the required medications in nearly 20 years. NBC News’ Tom Costello shares more details about one mid-air emergency where a passenger had an allergic reaction but the plane’s medical kit didn’t include an EpiPen.

  4. Shocking failure of FAA policy- someone asleep at the wheel it appears. Is America a bankrupt broken country in big trouble? I think so and I am glad I no longer and never again will live there!

  9. Right. Let’s give pharmaceutical companies instant revenue boost and airlines a reason to pass cost on to consumers. All because of genetically weak people.

    Listen if a peanut, seafood or bee sting etc… is life threatening to you well then maybe God and Mother Nature are both conspiring to correct a genetic mistake.
