Not that I don't respect the work the writers do, but it's a very different game than in 2007. Consumers now have some many more options to choose from. Even if the strike does also affect streaming services like Netflix, its only going on in the US so series from the UK, Canada, Australia, and where ever else they produce English content will continue to move forward and compete with American TV shows.
