It is up to the voters and citizens to support the SCOTUS. They do not have any enforcement ability and a dictator, as seen in so many other countries, can ignore or remove the court. It would be the American population that would stop that from happening if they had faith in the court.

Unfortunately we have a corrupt system in every government branch,they don’t care about the country,all they care is money and power and we have to do something radical about it if we don’t want to loose our democracy completely ,corporations pour millions of dollars to buy out the system that’s the source of all maladies ,we need to stop the corrupt money flowing into politics !

Anyone remember a VP of the U.S. that resigned over 'issues' not unlike this…from the book "Nixon, A Life in Full"……"Agnew had be taking gifts and cash on at least forty occasions. He (Agnew) agreed to pay $10,000 (a lot of money then) and 3 years probation for not filing a complete tax return, then resigned".
My guess is Justice Roberts won’t look into Thomas’s clear corruption is because Roberts likely has some corrupt secrets of his own. Having no means to oversee and remove a Supreme Court Justice is just stupid!
Roberts IS the reason the Supreme Court lost its legitimacy. Citizen’s United, Shelby vs Holder, and Dobbs vs Jackson. The Robert’s Court allowed these stupid, widely unpopular, ideological cases to be heard because he knew he had the power to do so. He didn’t do it for justice. He did it because he’s an ideologue and wanted to push minority views onto the population for decades to come. The biggest problem we face is that our constitution is so arcane and difficult to change, we get stuck with the consequences of shortsighted justices long after they’re dead and gone.
Unfortunately doesn’t matter…lifetime appointment and corrupt GOP. They want everyone else following the morality and ethical things they don’t even follow.

The Citizens United Act allowing Corporate PAC's unlimited Political Campaign contributions was the seed that grew into Corruption throughout the Government… Only the Progressives refuse to feed at the Corporate teat so you have most of the Democrats who are called "Corporate Democrats" and all the Republicans basically selling their offices to the highest Wall Street bidder… Our Democracy sells Congressional seats and this corruption has spread into the Judicial Branch all the way into the Supreme Court!!!

So judge Thomas is the same as judge Brown? But Thomas was installed in 1991, and Brown in 2022.
