I want to share some guitar video that I recorded and uploaded this past 3 hours.
With this link, I will:

He did steal chords and that is completely ok. You don’t have to change them slightly at all. I could write ten songs with those same chords played the exact same way and it’s not infringement. Only stealing melody and lyrics are infringement. We learn this first day of intro to music industry.
Marvin Gaye’s estate needs to chill.
Open the flood gates more thieving to come..
What about Sam Smith “Stay With Me” with Tom Petty “Won’t Back Down”?
No. It was all about a MONEY GRAB. The heirs saw a chance for easy money. GRIFTERS!
If he plays do-re-mi on a piano, ANY musician can sue him. They were going after his money.
thank goodness!! the guitar strumming was completely different. Marvin's family is a disgrace to his legacy – they've already done this once before with Robin Thicke and unfortunately won.
It’s not the same. Many songs use that progression but his phrasing and style made it different from Marvin.
Greed nothing but greed
What is it with Americans, everything has to be about racism😂😂
You can't copy a chord progression. Not four chords. 25 consecutive extended chords and rhythm? Well then, yes.
This case was junk.
You can't steal chords. If that's the case then EVERY F'KING SONG THAT MIXES INTO ANOTHER SONG IN ALL OF DJ HISTORY WOULD HAVE TO BE SUED 👀👀👀👀👀👀
These news anchors are idiotic. They don't even know how to explain the song and what makes it similar or different. They made him sound even more guilty than he actually is, which is not at all.
Wouldn’t Happen If He Was Original 🙄
Who r u?
This Jeffrey Dahmer look alike, stole that song..
As much as i dislike him and his music and those of his genre, definitely the right call. There are sooooo many songs utilizing the exact same chord progressions. So good call.
Who is Ed Sheeran?
It's been scientifically proven that there are bound to be similarities in music. There are eight notes to work with, limited chord combinations, etc. I can't imagine any artist deliberately stealing another's work. Sometimes it's going to happen, but I don't believe there's bad intent behind it.
Happy for you Ed. You are to young to know this song. People just wanted you money very greedy people.
Ed who? "ee rah'it thanks so mahch foh bein' aoht heah…and oh, lastly, me song is rubbish anyways, as all music has been following the era of american idol, america's got talent and napster."
