It would be different if Republicans have never voted to raise the debt ceiling without spending cuts, but we’ve seen Republicans vote to raise the debt ceiling. No questions asked before. Even when the debt was going up, they said you know what no questions I asked we don’t want any problems. What’s the problem now? I’m not saying we shouldn’t cut spending. I’m not saying we should raise taxes I think they should definitely have a first debate about the budget, but why are you having this debate about the budget now when previously you did it?
All these banking failures go all the way back to Ronald Reagans de-regulation of the banking system ever since he started allowing the bankers to buy our government officials the entire system is and has been very fragile affecting us all.
Why is returning to 2021 spending that crazy? That was not a small amount.

In my opinion, it's apparent that the Republican House is using both the unwillingness to increase the national debt ceiling, and the fact that they haven't drafted a budget as a means of filibustering to achieve a political agenda. They want the public to se President Biden as being weak and uncompromising, realing that the average American person doesn't know that according to Article I of the Constitution it is Congress that has control and power of the purse.
We as a nation must realize that the world, and especially our foreign adversaries are looking atU.S. politics very closely to see what our government decides on as far as raising the debt ceiling and drafting a budget. What the conclusion is to both will be instrumental in what happens to global financial institutions and whether our adversaries see us as too financially strapped to sustain a prolonged military conflict if we were to go to war with another country or other countries.
So for those of you commenting about cutting cost to the military, I would advise you to really think about the future consequences that my have if we were to find ourselves in a heated military conflict overseas.
I'm sure we can all agree that cutting funds to Medicare and Social Security are taboo. Yet, one thing we must also realize is that most politicians are quite wealthy and therefore don't qualify for either. So it is of no consequence to them if the average American receiving Medicare or Social Security receives a reduction or cut.
We as a nation must STOP voting for these corrupt, self-serving, do-nothing politicians who only have their best interests in mind.
We must vote for people who are truly willing to help American citizens in every aspect and stage of life to move forward.
