Let me ask you a question how would you feel if your country lost 20 million people? No one can imagine losing that many people. Every Russian family today has someone affected by the Great Patriotic war. My grandpa was a Ukrainian who fought on both the Russian and Ukrainian front. A lot of westerners will not understand the pain the soviet people went through. Whenever or not you agree with Russia and it’s special military operation you must still respect the lives sacrificed over the the victory against Nazism and facism.
