Jim Brown, an NFL Hall of Fame running back who ended his career early to pursue acting and civil rights activism, has died at 87 years old.

  31. Jim Brown was one of the greatest running backs of all time. My personal GOAT pick is Walter Payton but Jim is probably 2nd GOAT. He was most definitely one of the greatest football players ever for sure. He did an excellent job playing the defensive coordinator Montezuma in Any Given Sunday a.k.a. one of the best movies ever about pro football. He was an ambassador to the game, an icon in Cleveland, and a legendary historical figure to the world. There will never be another Jim Brown.
