  1. If you want to stop this you have to go biblical. Cut off a couple of hands here and there and the effect will be a major influencer.

  2. well………………………………

  3. Time to get rid of self check out and hire more cashiers lol

  4. Consumers foot the bill in the end.

  5. Don't be fooled. They claim a billion in losses? They know what a write off is.

  6. At Target you're not going to pay high prices.

  7. Heavenly Father please bring back all the police officers in California that are off duty or need replacements and fill California with more police officers than any other place on earth in Jesus of Nazareth name amen 🙏 hallelujah thanks Jesus!

  8. What a Joke the CEO of Target is now explaining why his company lost 700 million dollars of inventory and WHERE ARE MY POLICE OFFICERS TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING?

  9. Sounds like chicago thanks to mayor govenor thanks to your pollicies soft on crime and out right assanormas people you are.

  10. this has been going on with mom and pop convenient stores for decades. They ignored the problem because those stores were primarily owned by immigrants. For the sake of political correctness and to appease to "real Americans" who were involved in the theft of these immigrant shops they increased the theft charge to $950. After all, they were stealing from immigrants right. Who cares about those people? But the irony of it all is that these immigrants shop keepers have been fighting back for decades and have developed system to thwart thefts. Most stores would only keep no more than 100 in the register. The crooks figured out, after the fact, that it was just more lucrative, now they increased the theft charge, to steal from big box retailers and every other yuppy "true American" than it is against convenient store. Life is full of such irony. The yuppie liberals that turned a blind eye on immigrant shops all those decades, and in fact helped perpetuate the crime against them, are now suffering from the monster they created. Karma is a b-tch.

  11. Here's a billion dollar idea, use qr codes to purchase and receive goods near the exiting the premise. Put display items so customers can see what they are getting. Start this project in rough neighborhoods with high crime rate and slowly it'll get to everyone else. This will generate more income and reduce crime to a halt.

  12. The ceo's, shareholders and the wealthy are doing fine.

Its just the poors who will be affected by their next step in making it too expensive to survive.

  13. Trust me even the workers steal 😂

  14. I went to my local Target a few months ago just after they installed rows of locked glass doors over most of the beauty and health-care products… was kind of shocked. 😳

A Target employee said that a shoplifter filled a shopping cart with over $2k of merchandise and just rolled it out the door to the mall. The "security guard" wasn't able to apprehend the thief due to corporate policy regarding liability, and it was reported to the police… they didn't show up?! 🤔

And stores wonder why the losses are increasing if the thieves never get arrested!

  15. Stupid people elect stupid leaders………hear me?

  16. Majority minority areas only. Won't affect most of us.

  17. Another Biden and democrats party failure. Trump 2024.

  18. Black lives matter!!!!!!

  19. Soft on crime really not working

  20. Seriously though. Aliens need to come abduct all the thieves and experiment on them to see what makes them criminals

  21. im wondering how true this is, since Walgreens over hyped their losses due to theft before the midterms started. when they did their earnings call. their theft loss was much below the hype and fear mongering. so im a skeptic.

  22. Why dont these stores do something to stop these kinds of crimes????

  23. There’s a very simple solution to all of these and amazon has proven it.

  24. This is nothing but cannon fodder for the right wing to yell CRIME and point at the people they love to hate rather than the companies who’re stealing from the poor and giving to themselves. They’re the ones breeding crime all while making record profits. They lost nothing.

  25. America is much worse than a third-world country or Africa with all these crimes. Tell you how much this system is failing, and probably Russia is safer to live than in the U.S lol

  26. I kinda find this hard to believe, i mean 750 mil in losses in inventories in low-cost merchandise ? How many truck low of them need to be stolen? If we consider each theft to steal 100k worth of goods, there need be 7500 incidents. Also if you just spend 1/5 of that amount you can probably hire armed securities.

  27. Now talk about how much money they expect to steal from their own employees…

  28. Leave every city that "defunds the police"!

  29. Way cheaper to pay HUMANS ..self ck out S#CKS

  30. Yall forgot to mention Target profited over 100 billion, so whats less than 1 billion in loses? Nothing.

"Target revenue for the twelve months ending April 30, 2023 was $109.272B, a 2.14% increase year-over-year. Target annual revenue for 2023 was $109.12B, a 2.94% increase from 2022. Target annual revenue for 2022 was $106.005B, a 13.3% increase from 2021."

  31. ☢Change the laws like in other countries and theft crimes will disappear, theft is considered minor and probation is what is given, they're out the same day. Change it to 2 years mandatory for any theft no matter what the cost. 2nd attempt, 4 years. 3rd attempt 10 years. Law makers, governments make the change!!!!!!

  32. Have to close those high theft stores. The feds and the states have to get serious or lose it all.

  33. I think these big corporations can afford a few cops at their door always. That’s a lot cheaper than what they are losing.
