Plenty of jobs in Florida!
Mid 6 figures welding!! Ha. Where at!? She working 100 hrs a week, welding in nh pays 28 per hr if your lucky, that's 50k yr on 40 hrs, I've welded 20 yrs so… and nh is one the most expensive areas in the country year over year to subsist, I say subsist cuz living is a stretch
The media is currently barraged with a lot of economic data right now. It takes a lot to see beyond the whole ocean of news on focus on what is important, which is that no matter how low stocks go, they always bounce back. I really ignore all the news and keep investing. I recently allocated about $121k to put in the market as we anticipate a crash. Any recommendations?
4:17 she making mid six figures all day long? You mean she makes six figures in a yearly basis if she works 40+ hours a week every week for one year with no off or vacation breaks for that entire year. Plus after federal and state taxes it might be less than six figures too.
Are we supposed to be slaves? Is that the glorified American "work ethic?" Who says this system is even right?! We are inhabitants of the planet, not your artificial and corrupt countries.
He got their votes. That's all that matters. A sucker is born every minute. Selections had consequences you dummies.
Every situation that can be financed will be exploited by high cost since the monthly payments keep us hostage for years.
There’s a lot more debt on top of those student loans that I didn’t acquire or vote for. They need to slash the feds budget to ribbons.
government handouts stop people from working
My ex-wife and I helped my grandson get through high school and go straight to aircraft mechanic school. Under two years and at the age of 20, he will graduate with A&P certificates. A stands for Airframe and P stands for Power Plant.
These two certificates are required in most industries in order to sign off on work done.
Besides just being in the aircraft area, he can go to jobs ranging from aircraft carriers to rocket ships and many, many more.
These certificates from a tech school are easily worth six figure incomes.
The cost of it for two years, with student loans is under one hundred dollars. We have paid tuition for about $50,000 and the student loans will come due once he has graduated for almost the same amount.
Without taking this path, he would have more than likely struggled at best and failed at worse in any other academic school path.
Plus he will be doing the jobs that actually make our country operate and compete in the world.
Most graduates have come from the military, but there is a major need to recruit high schoolers directly into technical schools.
Businesses that pay poorly, overwork employees and are a holes deserve what they get. Plenty of small businesses don't pay enough to live in a tent.
We need to renew the crusade against litter. Its back, to those who haven't noticed.
I am afraid without extensive training, we have a huge portion of our current workforce that are completely worthless. Not just bad work ethic. Oh that is a big part of it.
I think Mike Rowe has his numbers wrong…mid 6-figure salary for a welder?! So a half million dollars for a welding job?! Where is that?! Sign me up!!
Where the hell are all of these 6 figure welding jobs?
Fab shops pay $15-25 an hour and that’s the majority of welders out there.
Chloe sure doesn't look like the female welders I have seen. Fake breasts and collagen pumped into her lips… she may have the blue collar job but she obviously wants to live a different lifestyle. She may have wanted to be a plastic, now she's just the recipient 😉
Be nice to have a job getting paid millions to talk on tv
F mike Rowe! People want a living wage. Refusing to work for 12 bucks an hour and no insurance at Home Depot doesnt mean Im lazy.
Why are they out of work? Why are they not working? I’ve tried every blue collar job just about everything. There’s no way to make money.
The title has it correct. Unfortunately, we have millions of lazy young people who don't care about anybody but themselves. They won't work hard and they rather stay home and have a government check come every week. If you won't work, you shouldn't eat! Of course that excludes the people who can't work for legitimate reasons.
How much did you use your college degree? Honestly, once out of college only the very first job after college did I use things I learned in college, after that, I never used them again. So….do all the jobs that advertise that "need" a college degree….are they sure, or are they also part of the problem.
Hard to consider a trade when you can be a dasher or sell dope🤔
This subject is just another MARXIST COMMUNIST operation of the American Marxist Communist Government of the Democrat Party. Biden is just another Dirty Commie.!
I PRAY THAT ANYONE WHO READS THIS WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE. SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DON'T BECOME THAT WAY OVERNIGHT. WHAT MOST PEOPLE SEE AT A GLANCE-WEALTH, A GREAT CAREER, PURPOSE IS THE RESULT OF HARD WORK AND HUSTLE OVERTIME
I could watch and listen to this guy all day.
The workplace today is a narcissist dream, supervisors are chosen on suck up and power and no technical ability, to be an employee now is to be a surf, no dignity given, heaven forbid if you're smarter than your supervisor, who by the way is probably an idiot, you're treated like trash, demeaned and under valued. Who the hell wants to work in a place like that? That's everywhere. I once had a supervisor that bragged about only having a ninth grade education, and he was my supervisor the head of the Analyzer group, he once told me not to use such big words in my reports. So take your work ethic and shove it, I'd rather live under a bridge than to work in today's work environment. The American culture is falling apart, there is no unity, your co-worker is not your friend, your boss is not your friend. The number of accidents in the chemical industry is climbing and it will continue to climb, E. Palestine. The recent explosions at petrochemical plants. They will start to drastically increase over the next years.
Nothing like a tv personality or some rich billionaire to complain about "work ethic" and being "able bodied". It was cool was watching dirty jobs back in the years, but then you come to find out he couldnt even do some of the "easiest" dirty jobs for more than a week. Frickin hypocrite. While i would agree some people just dont want to work, yada yada… most of us value ourselves and our capabilities significantly more than a 💩 on the street, even though the cost of living is brutal on the working class.
Go woke go broke lol those stupid businesses jobs pay low but the coat of living go up, if you make 16$ or 17$ you can’t pay for a apartment plus utilities and food not including with a car and everything go with that
We turned our backs on God.
We turned our backs on each other.
We are getting what we deserve.
Ironic that the entertainment channel with no ethics is worried about work ethics.
Oh boy here we go again, another bit with mike Rowe telling everyone if they go in the trades they’ll make 100’s of 1000’s of dollars. This guys a clown. Love to see him go to a job site and work a trade for 12 months. Then maybe he could start offering some real advice. Till then his statements are just blabbering.
All people want is a decent salary for what they do!!!!
I say, these Adults took out these loans, they should pay it back. It's not right for all Americans and tax payers to pay thier bill. If that's the case, hey, I want my auto loan paid and forgiven, less than most student loans, so a bargain right?! 😅
What is $12,000 1984 dollars adjusted to inflation equal to in 2023?
In the UK only 20% of student loans are being repaid. I read, the outstanding amount remaining unpaid totals, £560 billion pounds. Yes that is billions not millions.
The opportunities are in the trades!!!! Gotta keep spreading the word
management is the problem, not workers being lazy.
I like it like this!! Problems happen when you have to many people and not enough jobs! Then you gotta work for nothing and nobody has a dime to their name but still work 40-50 hours a week! I say we set it all up to be automatic and hand out a minimum wage for everyone who is a legal citizen so we all at least get fed! Then if you want anything else your gonna have to get up go work and get it for yourself. Or if your unable to work you can actually just set home relax maybe work online or something and get by ok! We gotta start lifting as one! 💪🏼🇺🇸 The stronger ones support the weaker ones and so on and so on. Make your neighbor your friend and Ali help him or her out instead of arguing over mini things that don’t even really matter!
😂😂
People aren't lazy they are just more aware that they are being screwed by their employer and extremely underpaid. No one wants to spend 40+ hours a week working for someones business and not be able to pay their bills because their superiors hord all the profits to themselves. So instead of paying more, they are weeding out the more entry-level jobs to technology for more profits in the future and less kickback by their employees.
