  1. Who the f*** is this guys. Salt and pepper πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  2. I have no clue how people can waste up 400 lbs of food a year, I barely buy 400 lbs of food a year lol. I only buy what I need. I literally calculate what Im gonna eat for the next week and make a list. Eggs are by far the most diverse Protein out there, then I buy some low-tortilllas and Instant Coffee, people think Instant Coffee is trash, it's just freeze-dried thats it.

I've literally use tortillas for making pizza, sandwiches, Hotdog and burgers buns.

  3. Something else that would save money is not sending 20 billion dollars to Ukraine for a war

  4. Chips in mylar bags! They are tasty and crisp two to three years after the best by date expires

  5. After the expiration date my soda goes flat and my chips are stale however some foods just get a little harder or bland but never got me sick unless it was meat or eggs ( if milk smells bad i just toss it instantly, thats one thing i wont try ).

  6. People please don't ever eat salt past the expiration date; salt is a rock and when it expires it makes you very sickπŸ₯΄

  7. Are people really that dumb now? We need to rename common sense to something that fits a bit more

  8. Standardized expiration date? Who put these people in position to make decisions, absolutely incompetent! A bottle water vs and apple have different expiration date. An apple grown locally than one that is imported have different expiration date. Summer foods spoil quicker than winter foods, so how can labels be standardized. They are looking at the problem of people wasting food in the wrong direction and minimizing the risk of eating food pass their expiration date. Food price have gone up a lot over the past few years and I don't think that any person in their right mind would buy food and purposely waste it. Food will generally spoil if not eaten or cooked depending on what it is. The focus should be on educating people not to buy food that have a short shelf life if they're not going to cook it immediately or shortly after. Talking about labels. Companies that put label out have definitely tested their products and have a good estimate of when the products are about to expire. If there is a label problem it should be when companies put products that expire way before their due date. That should be a concern not "oh companies put that their goods will expire way before their time." Thinking from a business perspective that doesn't make any sense, one would lose more business that way. They sound like they don't know what their doing. Oh there is food waste let's go after labels. They sound like a sensationalist.

  9. Or why don't you just eat/drink the food before it expires

  10. This is also an attempt to feed more people with less food, lets be honest. Everything has been rationed since the cough event and everything has also gone up in price. I expect my local grocery store will still be selling rotted avocados, overly bruised spinach, wrinkly green beans and moldy sprouts. Based on that, I'm not too pleased if the store has a much easier time selling items that were kept at the wrong temperatures at some point. Happy for improved efficiency in systems and reduction in waste, but I know this is just about increasing profits further for the mega corporations. Quality of life is going down in America for the average person.

  11. Me cutting the moldy parts on my bread

  12. Food must be criminalized, it's the only way to keep people safe.

  13. Just look at it to understand it "sell by" and stuff is self explanatory..

  14. So if the stuff is brown and moldy in my fridge it’s still good???? Wow imma start saving some money eating my moldy food

  15. How about removing all of the toxic chemicals, then figure out the dates πŸ™„

  16. NO one gets confused. LOL!

  17. I don't pay attention to best buy dates. I use my senses to determine if something is good to eat or not, and I never get sick.

  18. Every product has a half life because atoms move towards disorder. Even a brick in a parking lot has an expiration date.

  19. Yes, please fix everything, because everything is broken. Seriously.

  20. We waste so much. It's sickening.

  21. Niagra bottled water has facility across the freeway from a large sewage treatment plant in Ontario, Calif., and is usually downwind of sewage treatment plant.

  22. The USA should finally adjust their food laws. Europe for example makes unhealthy, poison ingredients illegal! In the USA food producers are allowed to use tons of unhealthy, poison ingredients. Most in the USA produced foods are illegal in Europe because they are too poison.

  23. I once had gotten meat at Target that was on clearance and it was a few days before the expiration date. I froze it when I got home. I thawed it a month later and it was gross smelling. I had gotten chicken and ribs, and both were bad, I think they had improperly stored them. I have gotten meat a different places that were clearance and they never were that bad.
