If Trump is a snake-oil salesman, DeSantis is more of a 1960s movie robot. Trump has this persona that can either charm or repel people, but DeSantis only seems to have two modes: vacant and vindictive. He has little entertainment value. In the end I think right-wing America's going to stick with Trump–he's like their Elvis.
