Are the plumes 4 to 5 miles high or 45 miles? The fact that Steve doesn't realize that what he's saying makes no sense ("distance from here to Anaheim"?) is disturbing, and shows he or his handlers didn't carefully read the copy before the broadcast. 45 mile high plumes are just 17 miles short of the Karman Line, outer space – the volcano hasn't gotten that bad, yet. 4 to 5 miles makes more sense, and that's probably closer to Studio City.
I hope they'll be alright.

The Mexican Govt plans to evacuate millions to Texas , when the volcano erupts…millions will come to America! Including the cartels and armed bandits…..the United States needs to prepare for this exodus of people coming here…..
