Stop going in unchartered territory
The population of sharks by the shoreline where people swim should be controlled by authorities! Period! Sharks are smart. You kill one by the shoreline, they will go as far from the shoreline as possible, where they belong!
Ha ha and guess what he spit her out
.. because of the all the fake food full of chemicals she eats !!@ hilariously funny
… More people are killed by cows every year – good advice: stare at the shark (it scares them) … Do not thrash to swim away.
Stay outa their home and their teeth might stay outa you..but stupid games must be played to win stupid prizes nowadays….
Ok genuine question: they have technology that can read the water and tell fishermen where big game is, why don't they utilize it in heavily trafficked tourist areas to watch for sharks?
When you where a black wet suit snorkeling you turn into a seal.
On occasion you’ll see bull and tiger sharks off the coast so likely one of those bad boys. Hope the girl is ok. I’ll stick to the pools.
Go shark go! I'm on the side shark!
Ladies DO NOT go diving unless you have VERY GOOD TRAINING. It's not a weekend lark.
Why is this relevant. ITS COMMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It happens. Its not like she was abducted or anything. WHY THE SPOTLIGHT??????????
When you get in a lions cage……………..you are at risk….same in the ocean, not the animal or fish's fault.
What's turks n caico?
There's been a lot of these seemingly rare occurrences lately. Just sayin.
Homosapiens were made for land not the ocean or the air we got the best gift from nature a big brain. 💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛Slava Ukraine
Actually, shark attacks are rising.
What kind of shark was it? Flying to Turks and Caicos today with my family 🫠 will be on the lookout… hope this woman is okay!! Poor thing 🥺
Yes, and during these past 16 hours since u uploaded this video. Humans have killed about 250 THOUSAND sharks.
It’s sad. But doesn’t even come close to being even. Especially since sharks have no interest in humans. If they attack or bite it’s an extremely rare occurrence. Why don’t you inform the public about that also? 🤦♀️
They have a relationship with the sharks and bring tourists there.
This is not like the Jaws movie where the sharks wants revenge and hunts people
This is just stupid but exactly the type of "news" I expect from ABC
So very sad,I prayer she have a speedy recovery.
Poor girl😢
I just don't know why some people insist on going into the Ocean scuba diving ("snorkeling ") or even swimming; knowing it's sharks in the water or something else that could kill them. I don't feel sorry for any of them because they all old enough to know better and the danger that accrue; it's not like they don't know the danger they put themselves into…THEY KNOW and still do it. Those who say it's very rare ARE LYING it happens alot more than reported. No matter how claim you are and keep your eye's on the shark it's gonna attack you. Therefore why go into the water without any protection or listen to the Owner's of the beach's or Companies who take people out for snorkeling knowing the high risk of getting bitten by a shark? They don't care about those people safety all they care about is making money and getting everyone to come there.
The sharks can have the ocean, I'm swimming swimming in pools only 🦈 🌊🏊♀️
I stay safely out of the water..it may not happen often, but they are down there , so it could happen anytime
It was a case of mistaken identity.
Yea went there in 2021 and saw a shark while snorkeling. They swim pretty low, however I wasn’t chancing it. No one else cared when I brought it up 🤦🏽♀️
Sharks live in the ocean when you go in the ocean you’re literally going the sharks home
I once encounter a shark white tip shark in oahu JUST WASHING MY FEET AT THE EDGE, white tips are curious and investigatory, imagine going into it's turf, what do these people expect was going to happen? Finding Dory? It's gonna take a nip at people to fine out what it is in their waters, and some take the whole thing. I read in Australia a 63 yr old Aussie lady swimming in tathra beach got eaten whole like a KitKat bar, and the gulls finished the remains. Stay out of their turf or don't b** about it
1:45 “…investigating….they’re looking at the circumstances surrounding the attack.”
Ummm…sharks live all over in the ocean. If ya swim in the ocean you are at risk of being bit/attacked by any of the animals that live in the ocean.
Case closed. Easy.
Do these investigators actually get paid to figure out why a shark bit a person because I def need that job!
The thing about statistics is that does not matter to the victim… If you say you are more likely do die from a bee sting than a shark attack that's irrelevant to the person that just got killed by a shark. You are just as dead.
