Soon as the debt ceiling is resolved, the republicans are going to cut more taxes for the wealthy/ big corporations. Because the trump administration tax cuts for the wealthy / corporations expire 2025. This is going to increase the deficit 3.5 trillion dollars. So the concern about the deficit Is a complete lie. You will see the middle of June 2023. The republicans could care less about the national debt. But they care an awful lot about their rich donors.
