Actually, the IRS runs commercial searches on most taxpayers they audit. They use a law enforcement database. I'm a retired agent. It's just part of audit procedure and doesn't mean much. They're looking for business activity that's undeclared. So that part isn't anything sinister. The rest of the story, I'm not so sure.
Progressives will not be aware of this story.
Taibbi is one of the most important voice of our time. So are Assange & Snowden. Our government (BOTH parties) are totally corrupt. Taibbi is proof that they would be nothing without the help of lying Media.
