Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will launch his 2024 presidential campaign during a conversation with Elon Musk on Twitter Wednesday night, according to three sources familiar with the plans. NBC’s Dasha Burns reports.

Governor DeSantis has more power as the governor of Florida then he will ever have as President of the United States. He's got a good portion of the houses in Florida under republican rule, he's signing all sorts of acts into law, and he is easily standing tall against his opponents.
As President, his hands will be bound thanks to the lack of republican support in both houses; even if the Republicans take over both houses in the next election by a simple majority, there's so many things that need to be done that can't be done without enough support to invoke cloture.
In all honesty though, I don't care which republican runs for the houses or the presidency as long as they win. I am so sick of the government being stagnant or slow to react on so many issues.
