I did a semester long project on the Vietnam War and actually read a book written to describe the experience of one of the POW’s. I didn’t finish it but it was a real shock, I remember one part where a man was being tortured and made a Vietnamese guard cry. It was so surreal and powerful, really recommend people to look into books like this as a way to remember the battles they fought. Thank you to the brave soldiers who fought for our safety🙏

My first girlfriends dad was a POW in Vietnam. He died after returning from Vietnam, he was struck by lightning. He put the fear in God in me about how he wanted his daughter treated.
