Former first lady Rosalynn Carter, wife of former President Jimmy Carter, has been diagnosed with dementia, according to an announcement released by the Carter Center. NBC News’ Blayne Alexander has more details.

If you live long enough, the brain could fail just like any other organ. If dementia starts at 95, she's lucky. Many start early and could live for a decade or more after onset of dementia. My mother started showing signs at 86. Now she's 92, physically very healthy but no longer knows who I am.
Unlike Biden family trying to hide Alzheimer and dementia from public I guess carter family is honest about their family.
