Personally, I believe there should be a 5% federal income tax across the board. If you make $25,000 a year – you pay $1,250. $100,000 a year – you pay $5,000. $1,000,000 a year – you pay $50,000. $1,000,000,000 a year – you pay $500,000 a year. Trump….? Well, I believe Americans would be happy if he paid more than $750.
Cuomo did do a much better job with the Covid pandemic than DeSantis. Whether Cuomo's relatives moved to Florida or not is irrelevant. Maybe his family members wanted to move to a warmer state, and to a remote less populated region of Florida? Who knows and who cares. The fact of the matter is, is that Cuomo did a better job.
This is so stupid, the debt ceiling is not approving a budget as congress will have to do that every year, raising the debt ceiling is basically just a hey look at how much money u guys have approved the last x years. If ANYONE ever votes against raising the debt ceiling causing a default they'd deserve to be n probably would get killed in the streets as that would literally be the dumbest thing a politician could do. It would be party suicide whichever side did it n there would be riots as everyones bank accounts in american dollars would lose like 50+% on a single day. The buying power of said money so it would basically cause hyperinflation so if you think foods expensive now, this would make it atleast quadruple.
Main point is debt ceiling isnt the place to fight over spending, thats in the budget meetings.
