It's not all spending. A big chunk of the debt problem is income and the GOP won't let us increase the income from corporations and the extremely wealthy. That would solve a lot right there.

Let's see…. World War II and the next 20 years, what was the top marginal tax rate? I am no expert, but I believe it was never lower than 70% and as high as 90%. We recovered from the war, helped Europe and Japan recover and built the interstate road system. Hmmmm… He seems to have forgotten lots of important details.
