Forgiveness is the primary commandment of the Church. This issue should have NEVER even been brought up. This bishop should be silenced by the church authority and forced to apologize to this community and reinstate their ability to celebrate mass daily.
It is illegal to question or have them sign any kind of document under anesthesia or who is on heavy pain killers! Once a patient is given the medication to "relax" them before the surgery there are no more documents or pertinent questions at that point until they are fully recovered and on their feet! This is ridiculous. I know this because I was a surgical nurse!

If my bishop was found to have done what the sisters accuse the Texas bishop of doing, I would go to another diocese for Mass (which I attend regularly) until he resigned or was removed.

People who continue to support the Catholic Church in this day and age know exactly what horrors this organization is capable of. Nobody can feign ignorance of the corruption and abuse.
