Even after borrowing $31,400,000,000,000 ($6T from foreigners including China), US gov ran out money to pay it bills. With the 'Fiscal Responsibility Act', gov can now borrow as much as needed until Jan 1, 2025. Note, it currently cost US gov ~5.1% to borrow for 1 year. Like most Americans, US gov is broke.

Another 4 trillion in debt added to the reckless spending of both parties enabled by a Federal Reserve that just prints money on their uncapped credit card. Both parties are a complete failure in upkeeping the fiscal well being of the nation. This younger generation is going to be so F'd. May as well sit back and watch the inflation and cost of living soar higher as your wages remain stagnate. But hey… At least this one isn't the fault of millennials and the Tik Tok generation.
