  1. Prayers for the people of Iowa

  2. Not an urgent search
Didn’t start looking for 5 days

  3. Ugh they found that kids dad 😢

  4. Pure negligence! You do not pour concrete onto a structure like that! Everyone involved needs to be fired immediately!

  5. The thing is they put up tarps on the fences early this morning and the building is still has movement. From the way it looks they are expecting it to be a recovery and not a rescue.

  6. 100 year old buildings should never exist!!!! things in life deteriorate as they age. then, we see situations like what happened in 2021 in Surfside, Florida, and now, in Davenport, Iowa. May the victims RIP. 😢🙏💔

  7. I hope those rods posted on the side of the building, weren't there for support.

  8. Slum lords will never face justice. 3 counts of first degree murder for greed

  9. Thanks for your report. This bldg. collapse seems to have been mishandled terribly from the first day. Initially they weren't even going to look for survivors. They wanted to start demolition the very next day. It wasn't until people started to protest and was noticed nationally that the local authorities here decided to take a look. This horrendously cavalier approach to dealing with a tragedy of this magnitude speaks of a greater ill in our society that needs to be addressed. Since when do we ignore the aftermath of a tragedy like this that leaves several dead or seriously injured in its wake without even giving one thought to getting a good search and rescue team in there to try to find survivors? Who is yanking whose chains and who, exactly, is getting paid? This kind of corruption in our country is not the answer and needs to be cleared out. Thank you to the media on this one for not letting it go.

  10. American archaic infrastructure. Maybe America should blame the Chinese for being the world's leaders in infrastructure and fast speed rail. Maybe America should blame the Japanese for having bullet trains way back in 1964 when The Beatles released their first record album. America, 59 years behind the rest of the world. Last year there was radioactive water leaks in Minnesota and now Philadelphia and Louisiana. Where is Biden's infrastructure funding? Surely DeSantis hasn't used the infrastructure funds to send migrants from another state to another state like he did with the Covid funding.

  11. OMG!😢 Whenever I go into tall storeys building, my first thought is always, 'God I pray this doesn't calaps.' It has always been a fear of mine. I pray those who are affected will be comforted and all who have not been found to be found alive.

  12. Ill pray for them.

  13. This video report said that tenants were not ordered to evacuate after the structure was determined to be in danger. My question is this. Were the tenants informed of the findings so that they could make their own informed decision to leave rather than risk staying? I bet they were not.

  14. 😅NAME THE LANDLORD AND OR INVESTORS. WE NEED TO KNOW IF THIS BUILDING COMES UNDER HUD OR FINANCED FROM ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY AND THE NAMES OF INSPECTORS WHO OBVIOUSLY GAVE THEM A PASS FOR YEARS TO HOLD THEM ALL ACCOUNTABLE.

  15. That obviously needed more then repairs..

  16. Another collapse in CT today 6-2-23, I wonder if the weather is responsible for exposing these landlords for what they are.

  17. Really the news can't even show us a fucking video of the building Collapsing

  18. This issue shouldn’t go away with a building inspector as a scapegoat. If those engineers knew the building was occupied and that it was structurally in imminent danger of crumbling they should be held to account professionally and perhaps criminally too for failing to notify law enforcement or first responders for immediate evacuation. Also building inspector consequences shouldn’t end at professional resignation. There is a criminal element there too. They all had a duty to evacuate as soon as they knew the danger of imminent crumbling.

  19. This is BEYOND disgusting! I hope that greedy slumlord & those corrupt city leaders get sued all the way down to their pocket lint!! 😡 😡 😡 😡

  20. Imagine that – Fraud n Corruption in the USA – What's this world coming too

  21. I'm sorry, but I don't know where you get your info from. It's been well known there were still 3 people missing. Try doing some actual journalism, ya corporate news actors.

  22. Yesterday it was a technical glitch to be examined by the IT department. Today it’s the engineers report stated the building is in imminent danger of crumbling. Was that just the facade that was in imminent danger of crumbling while the building was found structurally sound? What the heck is really going on with this story? State law enforcement should be investigating at this point. There are too many dirty hands in this pot. Let’s hope state law enforcement isn’t also corrupted by this situation too.

  23. How old is this building. I think they building apartments to fast these days

  24. "After the collapse, the city filed a civil infraction seeking a $300 fine against the building's owner for failing to maintain the structure in a safe manner." It's great to see that the city is holding a slumlord's feet to the fire.

  25. Those workers were covering up the cracks in that building. That should be illegal.

  26. He needs to arrested,I'm sure that he was paid to look the other, instead of his resignation,Lord take care of all involved, amen 😢

  27. Did you know that pictures of this are being posted all over pro-ukrainian telegram channels? This is because they are claiming this is a building in Moscow that they successfully blew up with a drone. Typical of their propaganda and lies, actually.

  28. They painted the building. What more fixing did you expect of them? Paint ain't cheap! (Of course, it's nothing compared to the lawsuits that are coming…LOL!)

  29. I'm surprised the dogs in the collapsed building searching haven't got booties on to protect their paws from glass etc!!

  30. One hour after the collapse you said everyone was accounted for? How many kids did you take to Disneyland? And how many did you come home with?

  31. So sad to see monuments and building to be destroyed 😭

  32. The building has 5 -2×4's holding it up at the beginning.

  33. Guess those thin wooden braces didn't do anything

  34. Resigned, yay! Prosecute?

  35. Gravity. Need for tighter inspections. Tears and prayers.

  36. Everyone who passed this through, turned a blind eye, built it this way, and owned it knowing it was this way, should be charged with murder.

  37. Well guess it won't take years to figure it out like they've been saying. So strange they had this video all along and wanted to hide it claiming they had no idea how it happened.

  38. Thank goodness for the press.

  39. Horrible, so very harrowing, condolences to the victims. Fixes?!?! Should of been just torn down a long time ago, a whole new building before any tenants moved in at all. $$$$$$, all some folks care about.
