Im a daily rider living in Sicily. Motorcycles are dangerous mode of transportation. Especially here. People just don’t see us, especially Italians when they are texting .Never trust anyone driving a car and always be looking out for passing cars in the next lane. Condolences to the families.

I been a trucker so long now no time in history of driving are they so many left of center crashes. I don't do it but I have witnessed countless 2 hand texters indulging in phone conversation. Disregarding the real task which is driving. I can spot a texter mile away. They drive drunk and can't maintain consistent speed or lane control.
Just because someone had too much to drink….how stupid and preventable…..please think of this next time you had a few and think "oh Im ok to drive…..

This senseless violence ends when we have REAL consequences for killing people with a car. Substance abuse, youthful indiscretion, inattention… none of these are valid excuses for taking an innocent person's life. We tend to view driving as an entitlement. It's a very serious responsibility, and people need to be made responsible for killing others on the road.

Tragic but this could happen when 3 or 4 deer run across a road into a line of bikes, give yourself plenty of space..

My heart breaks for them. My son and stepson were both nearly killed in 2 separate motorcycle vs car accidents and both have life long effects from it.

Sad situation. As a life long rider. 2 things I learned. 1. Always ride right of the road until you see intersections move left. 2. The yellow paint is NO ONES friend. Its slick and it will make your tire frictionless. God speed riders.
It's surprising they weren't passing between the cars. Those kind of drivers deserve what they get.

Man that is terrible to hear of especially the young children being basically murdered by a drunk driver the only thing that I really want to tell motorcyclist especially when they're riding together in a group maintain space between you even if you're riding side-by-side but I'm especially talkin about following too close a motorcycle generally can't stop as fast as a car because if you slam the brakes on too hard when you're going to slide out or even possibly go over the handlebars so just give a little extra space you'll still get there hopefully alive

I would not let my children have motorcycles as long as they lived with me. My first cousin was killed on one and some great musicians have died young on them.

I'm not a rider. I have a serious question though, why do half the riders I pass are literally riding 6 inches or less from the center line?
I don't ride any more. People have lost their minds. That being said, every time I see a motorcyclist wearing camo, I just think "there goes an organ donor".
