I'm few years older than TLC and their music took me by surprise. I was in a lot of pain over a bad relationship and "What About Your Friends" video came on the TV. I was 8 months pregnant and my husband left me for someone else and I was deeply sad. The song uplifted me like it was a miracle. I started dancing to it and I remembered how much my friends meant to me and I didn't need this man to love me. I needed to love myself. They made me feel empowered. I went out and bought their CD. I hadn't bought music in years. I will forever love TLC and I wish T-Boz and Chili happiness, health and love.
