Don't know about you guys, but this channel is my bordom saviour
the way this woman speaks in such loose terminology; all of her descriptive terms and propositions are very open ended "all of us can be conned." "there's a con for everything." "people who think they're smarter, they think it cant happen to them.", etc. make me believe she's a con artist. she doesn't tap into the psychology at all, these are all surface level talking points.
How not to be grifted (Why did someone change word from scammed?).
1. Think – If it sounds too good to be true, it probable is.
2. Investing in the stock market is for a different kind of loser. You can't expect enough gain from a stock market investment to overcome inflation. The guys that say that they killed it on the stock market probably make their money from the book they con you into buying. The very large investors should be investigated for stock manipulation. They are so large (and sometimes vocal ie. Elon Musk) that they drive the market in the direction of their choosing. Big investors win while small investors lose.
3. Buying gold – You have to pay for security and storage. You may not even keep up with inflation in the long run.
4. Realestate. Buy the house to live in. Realestate does go up in value because we're not making more ground while we are increasing the number of people who want to own some (usually with a house they can live in), but if you take in the chances of a realestate crash, upkeep, repairs, and the interest you pay on the loan your in the hole investment wise.

I woke up and saw all the "con", "grifted" in the channel. I thought I was still sleeping and having a weird dream 😂.
Please, Theranos looked insane from the beginning, to me. If she was so smart that she could have done what she claimed there would have been other evidence of her brilliance to look at over her life, and there wasn't, that I am aware of. She dressed in a bizarre way, which to me indicated she was too self-centered, which can indicate a narrow mind. Narrow minds don't accomplish great things.
