Nearly two decades after Natalee Holloway’s disappearance, Joran van der Sloot arrived in the U.S. to face charges of extortion and wire fraud linked to the case. Van der Sloot was extradited from Peru, where he was serving 28 years for murdering a college student. NBC News’ Sam Brock has details.

He killed the girl and then mail to her mother that if she paid him he will tell her where is her body. And after she paid he mail her that he lied when he told her where is the body of her daughter. Now his ex-wife wrote a letter to the judge that the judge should throw away the charges because the mother of Natalee and her lawyer did not look where Joran said to look.
