Not only did say cut the rope with a straight face, but to say the bridge will help… like cutting it loose In bad weather near some type of structure was the safest idea… nah I would of called a technician for help or somehow wait until the thing to decend at a certain point where everyone on the boat could pull down into the water.

Omg! As I’m watching this, never even thought he would say cut the rope. Are you serious?? Wtf??? Obviously you can see the black clouds in the back. Plus that’s an indication for lighting. They could have gotten struck by lighting too. 🤦♀️ Why not cancel the trip and schedule for another day. You can clearly see the weather conditions. Florida is unpredictable and it’s best to wait till the skies clear up. The captain of the boat is at fault for not putting security measurements that that day wasn’t a good day for parasailing. Instead, all he cared was money.. This is one reason why I never parasailed. I don’t like not being in control. Poor woman and kids, can’t imagine the fear when they were cut free and poor husband having to witness this. My heart goes out to him! 🙏

This is so heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for your horrific loss. Thank you for speaking out, you possibly saved someone by making us all second guess these types of activities, weather, and safety equipment.
It took four months for the investigators to arrest this captain, who negligently put the lives of those people in jeopardy.
The investigators were just as incompetent as the suspect. With all of those witnesses and a confession that he indeed cut the line, it still took four months for them to arrest him. Just shameful..
