The grandmother of the four children who were missing for 40 days in the Amazon jungle after a plane crash has shared new information about how the children were able to survive. NBC News’ Marissa Parra reports.

So did they search for the plane first ? The children were about 3 miles from the plane.
It sure sounds like God was on their side. 40 days sounds biblical.
Definitely a movie on this is on the cards.
So glad they did not lose both parents! If these were 4 white kids from USA the would not have survived! Blessings on the Mother & grandmother teaching them the safe foods! How awful to go thru the crash and see your Mother dead, they must have been terrified!

Oh! Miracle GOD! We thank you, I could imagine the pains that would be in their mothers heart at the point of death, pains of will my children's survive even if I don't survive? may her soul RIP. Children the God your mother served and prayed to for your survival before her death didn't disappoint her and that God is God Almighty the creator of the Universe. Wherever her spirit is now will be happy you all have been found.
Wow fourty days and 40 nights what a wonderful outcome and a heart warming story! So glad that the rescuers persisted,never gave up,found them, and saved their lives. Sure hope they and their father recover well and prosper.

I'm so glad they were found and hope they are given ongoing support to help them recover from the trauma. They survived a plane crash, losing their mom, and staying alive until they were found. Sending so much love to them, condolences to the families of those who passed, and gratitude to everyone who helped with the rescue🙏🙏🙏
survival in the wild has bigger chances, but survivig the impact of the plane crash when all adults died, thats more unbelievable
These kids survived because they were not American stupid children. These kids grew up learning how to live a proper life unlike the Americans children who would’ve killed each other and eat one another in a panic.

Something tells me that a 13yo with 9yo would not be able to keep a 4yo and 1yo alive in our urban crawl for 40 days.
Why do people attribute the survival of these children to "god" whilst ignoring the fact that "god" did nothing to save the mother and pilots?
