Why you guys always tries to teach cricket to virat kohli . He always gets criticized whenever india loses a crucial match . Why you have so much expectation from one player . Its a team game. Same thing happened when we loss t20 wc semi final against england . In that match virat and hardik partnership got india to 169 .and it is not a bad total on a crucial match but indian bowlers failed to take even a single wicket. And nobody was talking about bowling . Everyone was saying we should have scored 200 . Same thing in this test match as well . hello manjrekar sir .Sorry to say that but i do not agree with you.I think kisi player ki individually koi mistake nhi hai . aap jo bol re ho ki virat se baat karni hogi . baat karne se kya hoga ? 1 ball achi aa sakti hai that will get you out . but problem is in the mindset. if we talk particularly about this test match , india pehli inning me hi kafi piche ho gaya tha. sorry to say that , but this time bowlers did not bowl well and rohit sharma as a captain failed to utilize our bowlers and the biggest blunder was to select KS bharat as a keeper . koi purana test keeper select kar sakte the like wriddhiman saha. I think he would have been a way better choice than KS bharat. Now lets go back to t20 semi final we lost against england , us match me bhi I dont think we batted bad .I think after loosing too many early wickets , 170 target is a decent total in a semi final match . Usme bhi apne bowlers ne 1 bhi wicket nhi nikala and I was so shocked to hear all the cricket expert , they were all criticizing our batsman and saying replace seniors. Now lets talk about some facts , if we count seniors , we have rohit sharma, virat kohli , mohammad shami . do we really have a good opener as good as rohit sharma ? ( this is debatable with jaiswal, gill, samson, gayakwad. but we only seen them in ipl ) ? do we really have a good No 3 batsman who can replace virat ? ( without a doubt no . be it ipl, t20 wc, test match or ODI ), do we really have a replacement for mohammad shami ?
