The problem is not that the fed cannot suck in(by interest raises and bond sales) anything the gvt. pushes out by borrowing. The problem is that the borrowing itself will lead to unsustainable interest payments. But then, if the fed buys with printed money (as it HAS in the recent past), it is the beginning of the end. Likewise, the permitting of inflation to handle fiscal debt (as salaries increase in dollars (thus also tax payments) and dollars repaid diminsh in valuation), will lead to a Treasury market that cannot function WITHOUT the fed.

The market and the fed consistently underestimate the sicky nature of inflation. The market are still unsure if the federal reserve will continue to it's plan to raise interest rates until inflation is under control, despite the facts that bond yields are raising while stock prices are falling. What is the greatest strategy to take advantage of the current bear market while I'm still deciding whether to sell my 461k usd worth of stocks?
How come Baker and DeSantis can have fiscal responsibility with a cushion, and even as a first through a 1986 clause gave some of it back to their citizens, instead of general funds coffers, how come we as citizens have to have fiscal responsibility with our households, even so much so, that when help was offered, to pay any back bills to catch up, you didn't qualify, because you paid all your bills and just went without instead, while others got back rent or maybe mortgage paid in full, months, or go to salvation army or to CSS for two months electric because you are getting behind, or rely on food banks in the meantime, but the govt does not have to have fiscal responsibility? Waste millions, and billions, and now trillions, unbelievable amounts to wrap your head around, if a dollar was one second, a million would be 39 years, M, B, T, while we fight and squabble over pennies or starve? Nvm inflation or COLA, or privatize Healthcare, for profit, HILL BURTON ACT anyone? over Ten years now,…. everything frustratingly feels like a scam anymore, besides NOT MY JOB ☕ I think what makes it worse is seeing massive profits, at our expense, or use excuses to double prices even more, do you know the 43 Billion with a B, given out to help people with rent and mortgage, that only 3 Billion was actually handed out? Politicians from both Republican or Democrat have no intention of ever paying the debt back. Both sides only want to repay the interest on that debt. Both parties agree to pass more spending bills and never cut spending.
