People who kept their jobs & had student loans could’ve continued to pay their student loans, paying down ALL PRINCIPAL. Most people who didn’t lose their job chose not to pay. A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush as they say.

People think that they will constantly be in boot camp if they join the military . It was just like a regular job … but better because I was able to travel. We used to go to Rome, Italy on weekends and spent a lot of time in Thailand which was a blast. My kids were exposed to so much…, museums, shopping etc.. My daughter still talks about seeing the Mona Lisa and how small it really is! Happiest time of my life!
The Republicans in congress and the few democrats that backed up the last bill against forgiveness forgetting that next year is an election year and they are pissing off millions of voters. We are not going to vote for people who screwed us over so much.
And the whole idea that you earn more? What about those who cannot get a job with their degree. I have a bachelor's and a masters degree. I have been rejected 72 times when looking for a job in my field. I had to take an entry level job in a nursing home just to pay my bills. If I never went to college, and just worked full time in the nursing home, I could afford to buy a house

Financially literacy needs to be taught in schools. Most people were led to believe that college was the only option they had to get a good job and live the American dream. Nobody explained to students these loans and how repayment works. in fact, they even allowed credit card companies to come on campuses and entice students to incur extra debt. How can you blame these kids for Not knowing something that was never taught to them? Student loans are so predatory they should be abolished. make people pay out of pocket again. That would make College more Competitive and affordable. America is too debt and credit happy. That’s why we’re in the economic calamity that we in now.
The Supreme Court will Rule against the Biden Plan. They absolutely have to….If the voted to support Tax Payer Forgiveness for Student Loans, Who is Next?….Auto Loans?, Credit Cards?, Business Loans?…How about Mortgages?

If this program does get approved, I imagine Biden is going to do alot more about all this Student Loan Crap going forward, that Student Loans are not immune to Bankruptcy and that Schooling shouldn't be a risk as well. One of the biggest problems I have with Schooling in general is that, yes you may have an interest in pursuing the program you want to get a degree in, but as your in the process of trying to learn the courses your taking for the degree, what if this is not working out for you and now you want to try something else and you made a mistake in taking that course? Should those costs get waived for not completing the courses then if your taking longer to finish your degree program and only charge for the ones you actually do complete for that degree?
Biden supported legislation in 2005 that made it nearly impossible to discharge student debt in bankruptcy court. Why not change the bankruptcy laws back?
Better get struck down unless they want to give everyone free money
If this doesn't pass then any state with a financial gripe can bring suit without just cause. It would be problematic for the court system.
