Wow. And Kern County is spending all that money in L.A. telling people NOT to go in the river because it's so dangerous. But I guess these guys don't count. Don't know when this was filmed, but a kayaker died in the river this week. They can see the kayak, and rescuers assume his body is still in it. But they can't get to his body because the river is so high and fast. Maybe give that a thought. If the river itself prevents rescuers from recovering your dead body, maybe being in the river is not the smart move.
Looks like fun, just keep an eye on where the water's going, bound to be some flooding areas with that huge snowpack.
As an outdoor expert I’m going to tell you that doing this pro or not you or someone you know will die! The currents are so strong that once you fall off whatever raft or canoe you will get broken bones or get stuck under water by debris you can’t see. If you don’t want to fkn die stay out! I watched a Bear crossing the river and it almost didn’t make out let me tell you it didn’t dare try going back in. As the matter of fact one body is stuck they still can’t pull his body out! Don’t do it.
For some of us, it's safer at the tub. 🤭
