I believe that's illegal to find in Florida.
That was a Spanish fort, not an American fort. Spain owned Florida at that time. When America got it back in 1763 we destroyed the fort. Also, colonies of East Florida and West Florida refused to fight the British and stay loyal to the crown throughout the revolutionary war. The Spanish had Florida for so long that it won't be until 2050 that the American flag has flown over Florida as long as the Spanish flag has.

Are there any paper records documenting any of this? Or has everything said in this video currently just theories? And the big question is, how do they know this was an all Black settlement and not a regular settlement of this time frame? The artifacts mentioned could have belonged to anyone from the 1700s. I don't get it.
