This former president's story is the same as South Africa's former president i.e zuma. They both are currently charged with crimes that will see them end up in an actual prison. They're both spending most of their months in and out of court rooms. The South African former president has already spent time in prison for defying it's constitutional court and will go back to complete that sentence. Trump will be no different. There is a high probability that he will end up in a federal prison.
Pletka is a fascist ideologue dressed in the sheep's wool of intellectualism. Her argument is the definition of specious; that because we uphold the law in this circumstance then we will forever be forced to pursue our political opponents in court? It is simply her desire for Trump to be unfettered as he runs in 24. She is the most dangerous type of American and should have been called out as such at this table.

I'm so impressed with the moderator's ability to generate a fresh and interesting conversation after days of nonstop coverage of the indictment. The interjection of the news about the No Labels announcement helped but mostly it was the panelists' very candid responses and willingness to amiably disagree. Bravo 👏

Okay! A company provides products and services throughout the world. The company has to keep detailed records of all those dealings. The dealings include strategies, cost, warranties… The CEO of this company, along with upper management and support staff, we'll call them the old administration, were voted out by stock holders and replaced. The new administration doesn't have it's records of all past dealings because the old administration believes, those records belong to them. This case is turned over to the courts.

A masterstroke might be to let the trial and eventual conviction come, Biden pardens the document charges, but lets all other investigations continue without issue. Trump would be pitied and rescued by his bitter enemy, Biden would win favor for "healing" the country, and Trump would still face plenty of charges elsewhere. I still absolutely want him held accountable, don't misunderstand.

The REASON Hillary wasn't charged was because at that point, it was NOT illegal to use a Private Server and she had ZERO classified documents on it, at this point, it is illegal. Laws have to catch up with technology, they can NOT anticipate it.
A Presidential Paedon only applies to Federal Offenses, it would not apply to Georgia, the Constitution grants that authority to the Governor of the State the criminal offense was committed in.
