Titanic expert Larry Daley said he is “very positive” that the submersible that went missing during a dive to the wreckage of the Titanic could stay underwater for “quite a few hours” given the technology on board.

Titanic was a maritime disaster that could have been avoided if captain and crew slowed down thru the iceberg field . It is now a nautical graveyard that is not meant for under sea rubberneckers to gawk at . Whomever thought it was a good idea to charge tourists $250,000 to descend in a noncertified submersible should be sued for the loss of all onboard . This should be a hard lesson to anyone who thinks tourist rides to ocean depths or to the moon are a money making opportunity. They are ill advised disasters waiting to happen, just like Titanic.

It's not so much a "rescue" as a "recovery" operation. Underwater vessels implode below a certain depth, called crush depth. If it sank, then it imploded. The good news is that they died before they could even perceive the collapse.
