  1. And the fact that the older adults telling kids and dictating their lives won't do any good. As a matter of fact it will get worse if these adults pushes kids toward the cliff

  2. At least we're doing better in sports and art and music. We got nothing to worry about

  3. Our education system is a joke …

  4. The answer is to DEFUND PUBLIC EDUCATION!!!

The products of state/county/city/parish funded schools are clearly ill-equipped for college.

HS Graduates who have gone on to college end up moving back home, poor and angry which is what is driving the “student loan cancellation” movement under Biden’s promises. They are all FAILURES demanding their money back for WORTHLESS degrees across the board!!!!!

Defunding all public tax based education is the best solution, allowing Internet only education (ie during the forced pandemic lockdowns) to free up carbon emission producing schools and campuses for the greater good. School administrators and physically present teachers are clearly not working per the data.

  5. The kids are too busy playing video games, watching YouTube, and with social media. Parents allow their kids to stay up late when kids need to get up early for school. I’ve witnessed a lot of parents who practically did their child’s homework. I blame parents NOT teachers.

  6. I know nothing about this subject, but are educators certain that the standardized tests they use accurately reflect student ability?

  7. There is nothing about these results that should shock us. This group of 13 yr Olds has been through 3 years of destructive disruption of their education and massive trauma. All on top of that fact that this age group has regularly slumped in standardized tests. We just don't do really well for this age group, and by 8th grade it shows up in testing.
P.S. Arne Duncan is not an educator and no one should be giving him one more second of air time.

  8. Tutoring will do nothing & can’t instill the desire to learn. Why did I learn differential equations & Linear Algebra? BC they help me solve engineering problems!

  9. Thank a Republican. Burning books and claiming math is racist.🤔

  10. Bad parents having dumb kids.
